Giant Sea Urchin

Don't be fooled by their cute appearance, these 2 foot urchins are quite deadly. They have thick, chitonous shells and can shoot out five spines per round. These spines contain a poison that drains the strength of those struck. They also can take a suprising amount of damage. On the plus side, they're one of the few treasure bearing creatures encountered, containing a large, pearl-like gemstone in their guts.
