The DG puts paid to the Adventure of the Beans by [[Arben]]'s lyre-of-building out a mine to collect that sweet, sweet gold under the insta-camp's firepit: to the tune of 55,000 gold pieces' worth! 11,000 of that goes to [[Lugurix]], because blah blah Lugurixian mineral rights.

Then it's off to seek some lost Jews in Denmark! Starting in [[Gershom]]'s hometown of [[Mainz]] and sailing up(? rivers are confusing) the Rhine, heading through Frisia...and getting attacked by a bunch of dang wyverns, and that night, a green dragon! As dragons do, it pretty quickly disables most of the fighters. [[Marcella]] is rescued from solo melee by a mysterious elf, who helps drive off the beast; he tells them some dwarves hacked local dragon hoard Drachenfels recently, creating a Dragon Power Vacuum and disconcerting the area's wyverns. Hence the preponderance of scaly unpleasantness. Impressed by Marcella's bravery in the face of clearly impossible odds, he decides to accompany the group on their quest. His name is Tulpe.

On the morning of the 23rd they reach the lovely Danish town of Ribe, which contains the only cathedral and the only bishop in the whole country, a doughty chap named Leofdag, happily awaiting martyrdom at the hands of one or another of the pagan factions thereabouts. He provides directions to the hat-resembling island where they hope to find the golem.
