View source for The Danger Gang Re-confront The Lava Babies

The [[Danger Gang]] really want to grab that [[Lobster Barrel|magical barrel]], so they gear up to fight those [[Lava Babies]]. [[Martialis]] and [[Gershom]] cast a bunch of anti-fire type spells and they go back to the lava pit. They find the Lava Babies laughing and playing again. They shoot a Fireball at the Danger Gang, but this time Martialis casts Pyrotechnics, blinding a few of them. Unfortunately, this doesn't stop them. They  Slow the gang. [[Karl]] takes a swipe at one, but his Clord passes straight through him. Gershom tries to Abjure them again, but still with no luck. This time he's left with the impression that they just can't be Abjured. This went so poorly, they decide to runaway.

Karl runs off to grab [[Can]] and [[Zahrah]] off the Kivot; they're gonna need everybody to deal with these Lava jerks. After a quick rest and a few protection spells, they're ready to give it another go. Unfortunately, this time there are nine of them. Karl and Can Fly overhead pelting them with Magic Stones and Color Sprays while Marty and Gershom keep trying to magically afear them. Eventually the beating and magic scares them off. Karl swoops down and tries to snag the magic barrel. Unfortunately, he's interrupted when he's attacked by a sledgehammer, a pair of tongs and a cone. He dodges their attacks then flies the barrel back up to his compatriots. Meanwhile, Can investigates the Mold. It's in the shape of a lady, but he doesn't recognize her. Karl lassos up the tongs and reels them in. They keep snapping at him, so he ties them closed and tells them to be good.

They take the barrel outside. After a little searching they find a hidden door on it. Inside there are ten levers, and a set of directions. Turns out this thing is some kind of lobster shaped submarine. Very neat stuff.

That night Marty tracks down some fresh mistletoe so that he can continue to cast spells effectively. Everyone hits the sack.
