Birthplace of Michaelism.
An interesting side note about the Chrysopolis is the large number of monsters that have taken up residence there and lived in relative peace with humanoids. There's B, a beholder-kin; Xenon, a (former) mummy; Ishopra, a demoness (recently evicted, and likely not so peaceful); Shkurte, some sort of Albanian turtle river pixie thing; Sissus, a satyr refugee from Ephesus, and Nelchael, a fallen angel (a long-time resident, now on a quest to recover his flaming sword). Indeed, if ever there was a town for monsters looking to turn over a new leaf, Chrysopolis is it.
