Hal: I have no knowledge of ancient Greek. Therefore, this attempt to render an English riddle into a language none of us speak is not only quixotic, it is also very difficult. The translation should thus be seen as very provisional, and corrections are welcome. It will appear slowly, in pieces.

Most problematic for what we have so far is my complete cluelessness on how to render in Greek "change x into y"; I put x in the accusative, of course, and then resorted, like a good English speaker, to using the pronoun for "into," which has got to be totally bogus. Any suggestions?

Do not infer, please, that there are not sundry other problems.

I trust that N will figure out some way for Greek text to appear on the wiki, but, for the moment, i am merely using Roman letters with the arbitrary convention that e = epsilon E = eta o = omicron O = omega

Punctuation will be modernized.

Danble: What was the point of this again?

Hal: Simulationism?

Noah: I forget. But anyway, I believe the first part is correctly 'translated.' Let me know. Also let me know that those characters are displaying properly for everyone else, too.

Chris: This is funny. To me.

Hal: There seem to be no upsilons.

Noah: Now there are two.

Hal: Two down, one to go.
