There are a wide variety of off shoots in the Beholder family, known as Beholder-kin, which includes the Eye of the Deep. The Danger Gang defeated one of these kin (most likely a Spectator) in the tombs of Aege and an Eye of the Deep one time too cuase they're wicked awesome.
