Harald takes down Droolmouth in a straight-up fighter battle. Closer than would have been expected, but no magic items used by either side.
Akim draws his recent adventuring companion Richard son of Odo. He concedes, since this guy did rescue him from eternal imprisonment in Hades after all. Plus he would get creamed.
Themistoclea beats the living tar out of young Basil, to no one's surprise.
Orm draws Xanax, who bows out. Kebnegard's representation has been winnowed down to one tough dude.
Evelake gets an easy match with Thorkill the High, who is berserking when Lila and Company Teleport low, into the match. Hilarity ensues.
Fazel bin Salih puts up a good show, managing to last a fair number of rounds, but he ultimately gets creamed by the somewhat-less-mysterious-than-before Sixfold Crystal.
After getting off a lucky fumble spell early in the round, Vselov gleefully reduces Jan Seyoum's armor to paper and spends the better part of a turn stabbing him full of holes. At -8 hit points, the King of Abyssinia finally decides he's had enough and unleashes an artifact power, takes complete control over Vselov's body, and forces the haughty Russian wizard to bind the very wounds he previously inflicted. How humiliating! Vselov storms out of the arena, leaving Jan Seyoum to celebrate his victory (in a subdued fashion, so as not to explode his heart).
Kolya defeats childhood hero Ilya Muromets in one round, earning a close friend until the charm wears off. Everybody wang crown tonight!
