Lleryn is a quiet ranger who doesn't have a bio yet. He came from Gwynedd, near the coast of the far western Gaulish isles; he and his fellow Gwyneddau followed the Welsh Party across the known world (and then some) before they were scattered by brigands west of Constantinople. Now he's with the Chrysopolis Party trying to figure out what to do with himself. Perhaps he'll kill himself some Octopi.
Since he found the remains of his one-time party in Ankara he has started taking notes of his adventures. Lleryn's Incoherent Notes aren't of much use to anyone else, though, since he's illiterate.
Lleryn is played by Scott in the Brooklyn Group.
Physical Description
Lleryn stands about 5'7", likely making him moderately tall. He has very dark brown hair which is often long enough for him to put in foolish-looking braids at the sides of his face, and he keeps it roughly cut himself. With a spare dagger. He's thin, though not quite gaunt, and has a longish face. Because of that, and his tendency to glower, he often has a stern appearance. He's early into his third decade (20s) but has seen enough that he often passes for older. He looks nondescript enough, in other words, to avoid undue attention, which is generally how he likes it, though he tries to be affable enough.
When wearing the clothing of his homeland, which he has generally been able to get away with, he wears a long shirt of linen with a woolen grey tunic over it. He has a woolen cowl that he wears when the weather is ill. He keeps all this closed with a belt which has various pouches and things strung off of it. He has some leggings that he picked up somewhere, but he doesn't wear them unless it's really cold; he's got some patchy hose that's generally enough under the long tunic. He has a cloak that he throws over it all if he needs, and a bag that goes over his shoulder with more loops and pouches on it. His most notable feature, then, is that whenever it's acceptable to wear weapons openly he's brimming with them: a short polearm with a strange cap/sheath he often puts over it, a rapier on his belt and a slew of daggers and shiny bits wherever it's good to tuck them. When weapons aren't allowed, or when he's trying to be stealthy or track, he wraps the longer weapons in a rough bag that he fashioned for them out of leather and oilskin and which he keeps strapped over his shoulder opposite his back-sack.
