Asuidal Asuidal is not really an elf; she is a Halfling, a self-hating Halfling who always wanted to be an elf. She became a druid because so many elves are druids, and, lo, after quite a long time and a stint as the Grand Druid, she developed the ability to mimic the form of any humanoid. Of course, a beautiful elven princess, with long flowing hair and ears so long and pointy, is the form she chose. She never admits that she was not born an elf; Clock Zoo knows her secret of course, as they’ve been adventuring together forever; Bobby also knew Asuidal before she was able to ditch that sorry, runty body with the hairy feet. But Clock Zoo is not about to tell (he has his own secrets), and Bobby, for whatever reason, has not told. Still, being able to take the form of an elf isn’t the same thing as being born an elf, is it? Really, it’s not quite as good.
Asuidal is extremely loyal to Clock Zoo; she kind of has a crush on him (he is, after all, an elf), but it’s never come up. She’d die for him without question, and suspects that, despite the tough way he acts, he would die for her, too. She likes Dust a lot, because Dust has lived the natural life, riding around on the plains and sleeping under the stars, although she’s not sure how Dust feels about her. Montpar, as well, she thinks is cool (another elf!), but he doesn’t really think much of Asuidal. No one really does. They all talk to each other and laugh over their private jokes, and Asuidal is left out in the cold.
Morning Star is a better cleric than Asuidal, frankly. She’s nicer, too. Konnack you’d think would be a big oaf, but he’s actually really funny and intelligent. The two of them have a little click going, with Dust and some of the others.
Asuidal likes Bobby as well, because Bobby is naturally everything Asuidal is not (except, of course, as elf), and they practically worship the same goddess. Asuidal would back Bobby in almost anything that does not go against Clock Zoo.
Xiphoid Mary, however, is just plain skeevey.
