Apropos of nothing, rumor has it that you have acquired the sickle sword. Rumor also says you have forged an alliance of an unusual kind, I suppose a talking cat can be quite a persuasive ambassador. But anyway, back to the sickle sword. Where the devil did you find it? What is it doing up here? Is it, and please excuse me again if I am forward, the same as the sickle of the Golden Age? Whose blood is on it, the Old One? The daughter of Medon? The serpent? Forgive my curiosity, I am merely fascinated by certain antiquities. Remind me some day to show you the spear I have, which came from the Hindu Kush. It's quite a fascinating story! Just out of curiosity, surely you did not trade the sickle sword for any damned bird. It's a sucker's move, don't do it. Probably you should let me have a look at it. I know things that might be more valuable to you. That idiot slut of a duchess, my spies tell me, has seen of late a spear much older than mine, it might be of more use to you. I mean, a sickle, can you even hold it? But don't trade it! No flying horse made of weeds is worth that much. Perhaps I should visit? Just for a little while, to make sure it's safe. Pechenegs are duplicitous! Don't worry about the cat, I know somebody. I know you prefer dogs; I captured a strange one recently, and I'm sending him along. My gift to you. I just want to touch it. There's a woman you should meet. We all will eventually.

Found in a dungeon in Northern Russia, between Novgorod and the Baltic Sea. It was on four men that had been imprisoned by some very nice Rock Creatures (well, nice to the Kebnegard-Bound Party).

Prince Vselov to Jarl Bolthar, greetings!
I hope this finds you in health. Please accept these gifts, which a descendant of the great
Utgarloki would scarcely be in want of, but which I cannot use, and should serve as a small
    token of my affection.
Recently, and please do not think me creepy or forward for saying this, I dreamed a dream
that the brother of the gold vomiter bought, with something dear but unseen, arms against
you. I trust you will understand.
Apropos of nothing, rumor has it that you have acquired the sickle sword. Rumor also says you
have forged an alliance of an unusual kind, I suppose a talking cat can be quite a persuasive
ambassador. But anyway, back to the sickle sword. Where the devil did you find it? What is it
doing up here? Is it, and please excuse me again if I am forward, the same as the sickle of
the Golden Age? Whose blood is on it, the Old One? The daughter of Medon? The serpent?
Forgive my curiosity, I am merely fascinated by certain antiquities. Remind me some day to
show you the spear I have, which came from the Hindu Kush. It's quite a fascinating story!
Just out of curiosity, surely you did not trade the sickle sword for any damned bird. It's a
sucker's move, don't do it. Probably you should let me have a look at it. I know things that
might be more valuable to you. That idiot slut of a duchess, my spies tell me, has seen of
late a spear much older than mine, it might be of more use to you. I mean, a sickle, can you
even hold it? But don't trade it! No flying horse made of weeds is worth that much. Perhaps I
should visit? Just for a little while, to make sure it's safe. Pechenegs are duplicitous!
Don't worry about the cat, I know somebody. I know you prefer dogs; I captured a strange one
recently, and I'm sending him along. My gift to you. I just want to touch it. There's a woman
you should meet. We all will eventually.
Ah, but I do ramble on. I would invite you to Polotsk, but I probably could not accomodate
you. Perhaps I should come there? Let me know!
    Yours,
    Vselov
PS. Did you get it from Igwulf? Did she have it?
