Pagan who converted to Judaism when she married Fikaros. Usurped the kingdom of Abyssinia from the Christian King Tatadim in 972. Known to be a great warrior and wise queen, and seems generally fair in her dealings.
Incidentally, the first queen of Abyssinia in almost two thousand years (Makeda was the last).
Yodit has recenly been deposed by King Harald Jewfriend, and is temporarily working as his military advisor.
