A Persian muslim from Baghdad whose devotion is shown by the astounding number of times Mohammed appears in his name. Average in all respects, so average and easily forgotten that even in mid-conversation he can blend into his surroundings and pick the pocket of the person he is talking with.  He just stole your wallet. All of this despite his admittedly flashy wardrobe of a black leopard skin cloak and rhinoceros skull cap.

A Persian muslim from Baghdad whose devotion is shown by the astounding number of times Mohammed appears in his name. Average in all respects, so average and easily forgotten that even in mid-conversation he can blend into his surroundings and pick the pocket of the person he is talking with. (He just stole your wallet) All of this despite his admittedly flashy wardrobe of a black leopard skin cloak.

Mamun regularly chops off the limbs of random encounters with the Whip Sword of Yemen and does his back stabbing with the Belt Knife.

Mamun joined the party when he washed up on the shores of the Red Sea. He served briefly as the intelligence minister of Abyssinia during the 2-day rein of King Harald the short-lived. During this time, news of Mamun's thieving prowess had spread and accumulated very very very close to the point when 4d6 thieves would have dropped whatever they were stealing at the time and migrated to Abyssinia, to steal under the command of master thief Mamun. They were particularly impressed by his legendary theft of the immortal heart of Ayesha, consummated with the white hand print Mamun wears on his face as a symbol of their love. In fact, at the exact point that Mamun had accumulated sufficient thieving skill and renown to command a guild of followers, he was struck dead by a Noble Marid (with enough damage to kill him at max (jerk)) in the coup that ousted King Harald the incompetent from the throne. His last thoughts were of Ayesha.

Mamun was resurrected a few hours later by the Ark of the Covenant Go Ark!

Now a pirate, Capt. Mamun of the good ship Ayesha leads his trusty crew of 19...18...17...16...15 on voyages of plunder. It is a veritable floating thieves guild. Sure to make it on the list of Top 5 Rogues of the Mediterranian soon.

Mamun's guild are: TrapoII, Odo, Vis, Ramin, Elburz, Faridoon, Yasmin, Xerxes, Gulid, Kambujiya, Mulaulem, Abaynesh, Amara, Hassan

Mamun was recently sentenced to death by the Fatimid Caliph Aziz for allegedly stabbing the late Sancho Muhammed and feeding him to Harald in a pact with a Djinn to save the ass of the party. However, he was granted a stay of execution for 1 year in order to run some errands for the Caliph. Allah be praised!

Mamun's Leftenant, TrapoII, has his own guild! Mamun regularly bores the crew of the Ayesha to death with pictures of the grand guild.

Things Mamun has chopped the limbs off of:

  • Super Mummies
  • An Angel
  • A Stone Golem
  • A Greater Basilisk
  • Kiram "Fat Legs" (Stupid Ethiopian monster)
  • 'The Phantom Blot' (ibn Jerthum's shadowy henchman)
  • A Giant Amoeba
  • An annoying Cherub in the palace of the Greae
  • Zadenict, an elf paling around with Ibn Jerthum
  • 2 of Yaya Sr's palace guards
  • The Marid that killed Mamun in Abyssinia, Vengence!
  • Jetterlace

The whip sword is gone. Mamun is now Pyro-Pirate-Prince Mamun regularly bar-be-queing opponents with the ring of fire.

Mamun, was never fond of Jamila, after she toyed with him to hit on Aylyll. But he's positively fuming now that she has polymorphed him into a turtle, then cursed his system shock roll causing him to die (again) and need resurrection...by an ape. It is now Mamun's personal mission to take her out.
