Backstory: Grew up in an isolated Mithraic cult on the island of Herm (off Guernsey) left behind from the Roman occupation. (With shades of local shaman beliefs). Escaped as a 7yo child from the 955 sack of Herm by monks (adherents of Saint Tugual) who arrived several decades after the Norman annexation of 933, barded about France, Navarre, Burgundy, Saxony and Bohemia before ending up in Italy.
