A muslim whose devotion is shown by the astounding number of times Mohammed appears in his name. Average in all respects, so average and easily forgotten that even in mid-conversation he can blend into his surroundings and pick the pocket of the person he is talking with. He just stole your wallet. All of this despite his admittedly flashy wardrobe of a black leopard skin cloak and rhinoceros skull cap.

Mamun regularly chops off the limbs of random encounters with the Whip Sword of Yemen and does his back stabbing with the Belt Knife.

Mamun joined the party when he washed up on the shores of ... He served briefly as the intelligence minister of Abyssinia during the 2-day rein of King Harald Jewfriend the short-lived. During this time, news of Mamun's thieving prowess had spread and accumulated very very very close to the point when 4d6 thieves would have dropped whatever they were stealing at the time and migrated to Abyssinia, to steal under the command of master thief Mamun. They were particularly impressed by his legendary theft of the immortal heart of Ayesha, consummated with the white hand print Mamun wears on his face as a symbol of their love. In fact, at the exact point that Mamun had accumulated sufficient thieving skill and renown to command a guild of followers, he was struck dead by a Noble Dao (with enough damage to kill him at max (jerk)) in the coup the ousted King Harald the incompetent from the throne. His last thoughts were of Ayesha.

Will he return by the power of the Ark of the Covenant to found the guild he has been dreaming of? Oh yeah! Mamun is back among the living. Go Ark!
