A bird of legend that may or may not be made of fire.
It is also rumored that when it is consumed by its own flame and dies, it is only to be reborn from its own ashes.
There is only one in the world at any one time, and it is said to reside in an earthly paradise far to the East, in the land of Dawn.
Should not be confused with the Egyptian sun-bird Benu, or the Chinese celestial animal Feng Huang.
