The harbor was filled in when Michael Bourtzes was laying siege, but has been redug by the Bogatyrs.

Location of the Gregory Memorial Library, part of Arben's stronghold, The Governor's Mansion Inn, the Monastery of St. Maximus, and, just outside city walls, Oeonoe's Vineyard and Leander's Tower. Now possesses the awesome Winged Victory of Samothrace.

Also possesses the copyright to Aristotle's lost work on comedy.

Birthplace of Michaelism.

An insteresting side note about the Chrysopolis is the large number of monsters that have taken up residence there and lived in relative peace with humanoids. There's B, a beholder-kin; Xenon, a (former) mummy; Ishopra, a demoness (recently evicted, and likely not so peaceful); Shkurte, some sort of Albanian turtle river pixie thing; Sissus, a satyr refugee from Ephesus, and Nelchael, a fallen angel (a long-time resident, now on a quest to recover his flaming sword). Indeed, if ever there was a town for monsters looking to turn over a new leaf, Chrysopolis is it.
