The Major Gods of the Norsemen:
Odin- All-Father of the gods, he gave an eye to receive knowledge of the world. Has two ravens that help him, Hugin and Munin.
Thor- mightiest of the Aesir, he has a magic hammer called Miollnir, a girdle of strength, and Iron Gloves.
Baldr- wisest of the Aesir, as well as most beautiful and most merciful. His mother Frigg asked all the creatures and plants of the worlds not to harm him, except for mistletoe, which Loki used to kill him.
Freyr- most glorious of the Aesir, he rules the rain and sunshine, and therefore he is the master of agriculture.
Tyr- bravest and most valiant of the Aesir, he lost a hand to Fenriswolf.
Bragi- renowned for his eloquence and his command of language, he also loves poetry.
Heimdall- watches over Bifrost, the Rainbow Bridge connescting Asgard to Midgard.
Hod- blind blacksmith, he is very strong and good with his hands.
Vidar- the silent Aesir, he is almost as strong as Thor.
Vali- son of Odin and Rind, he is bold in battle and a very good shot.
Ull- stepson of Thor, he is the one you pray to whilst in single combat.

Other Gods Who Are Not Aesir:

Freyia- in every battle, she picks half of the slain to go into Valhalla, and she enjoys love songs.

The Three Children of Loki Who Are to Bring About Ragnarok:
Fenriswolf- bound by the fetter Gleipnir until the end days, he bit off Tyr's hand when the Aesir refused to let him go.
Iormungand- the Midgard Serpent, he was thrown into the sea and encircles all the lands of Midgard and bites on his own tail; Thor tried to fish him out once.
Hel- thrown into Niflheim and administers the dead there, she is half black and half white.
