After some resting and healing the party decides to check out the remaining buildings in hope of finding the elusive Sons of Hercules. Ailyll cleverly Locates arrows, and we see that a bunch of them are underground near the buildings we haven't explored. We approach the larger building, and sure enough the arrows start converging towards us. We take cover behind a ruined wall, where we watch a burly guy with a bow and snake legs come out and look around. Ailyll Snake Charms him, then his buddies start shooting at us. We cast some spells and they start to retreat. We follow them into the building, and defeat them one by one while following them underground. Harald orders the wounded bound before they bleed out, and we end up victorious. The Sons tell us of their origins, and bemoan the fact that soon they will be extinct, as no females were born ths generation. They give us some magnets that can cause earthquakes and a bit of gold in return for their lives. We go off to rest before teleporting out.
After resting we decide to explore the magical portal we found in the Temple of Melkart. It turns out that it really does lead to the Garden of the Hesperides. We talk with the nymphs, and see the tree of the Golden Apples. Looks like they would both be delcious and cure Harald's space-AIDS. However, there is a five-headed Great Wyrm chromatic dragon coiled around the tree, and it just looks like each head might have independant initiative and do max breathweapon damage. Ailyll graciously Augurs anyways, and get a might reply of "WOE" for grabbing an appel and Teleporting away. Oh well. We leave the Garden, and get ready to go on a tour of Spain so the Caliph can get to know his people.
