The harbor was filled in when Michael Bourtzes was laying siege, but is now being re-dug.

Prominent citizens include Oeonoe, Arctophilus (Beardo), Kolya, Helena, Admes, Brynos, B The Beholder, and formerly Ishopra. Perun and Leo are more or less always there, too, and Lugurix is always stopping by for hijinks. And don't forget Shkurte!

An insteresting side note about the Chrysopolis is the large number of monsters that have taken up residence there and lived in relative peace with humanoids. There's B,a beholder-kin; Xenon, a (former) mummy; Ishopra, a demoness; Shkurte, some sort of turtle river pixie thing; and Nelcheal, a fallen angel. Indeed, if ever there was a town for monsters looking to turn over a new leaf, Chrysopolis is it.
