An insteresting side note about the Chrysopolis is the large number of monsters that have taken up residence there and lived in relative peace with humanoids. There's B, a beholder-kin; Xenon, a (former) mummy; Ishopra, a demoness (recently evicted, and likely not so peaceful); Shkurte, some sort of Albanian turtle river pixie thing; Sissus, a satyr refugee from Ephesus, and Nelchael, a fallen angel (a long-time resident, now on a quest to recover his flaming sword). Indeed, if ever there was a town for monsters looking to turn over a new leaf, Chrysopolis is it.
