Of course we don't share her optimism. Arthur's expedition to get Gwen was likely driven by the enemy's attempt to disrupt the axis during the "hinge".
Noah: No, but it suggests to me that a lot more of the groundwork has been laid for us than I had originally thought. It also means that contrary to appearance, the good guys have been doing all right lo these many years.
