Arben and Martialis stab themselves in the neck

After a comperatively quiet night's sleep, the Danger Gang leaves the hovel they were camping out in, in Pella. The next stop on their self guided tour is the small temple outside the city walls to the South. They begin exploring, finding some 200 year old Byzantine coins and a broken bench. In another room they find a basin with blood in it and the inscription Darron above it. Arben recognizes the names as that of a Macedonian healing god or angel. Something. There's also a set of bloody footprints leading away from the basin. They try to follow it, but their lack of tracking ability prevents them from following even these rudimentary tracks. Karp casts Detect Magic, and is almost immediately overcome by the blinding glow of the basin. He clues them in that this is what they're looking for...to be continued
