Beholder

A five foot floating eye with a few other tiny eyes. These eyes have magical properties; including an anti-magic ray, teleportation, telekenesis, disintegration, paralyzation, and more. They can also attack with their deadly bite. The Beholder is a vain species, and while incredibly evil, can be easily flattered. Those encountered have been willing to listen to reason, as long as that reason is garnished with compliments.

There are a wide variety of off shoots in the Beholder family, known as Beholder-kin, which includes the Eye of the Deep. The Danger Gang defeated one of these kin in the tombs of Aege and an Eye of the Deep one time too cuase they're wicked awesome.
