We follow The Path to an overgrown ruin with lots of sink holes. Two elephant lions attack us, as does some of the surrounding flora. We devise a complicated lever system to open the door, avoiding the cloud of poison gas that comes out. There is a plaque with one illegible inscription and one in Tamil, which Mamun reads as "Haravarma of the house Kdamba late of the house Mayouan". We enter into a room full of statues representing Hindu gods. 12 of them come to life and attack us. They are crazy tough. One shoots a beam at Ailyll, and she suddenly wakes up in the room where she was born!

Ailyll gathers some allies among the local druids and hurries back to India via plant. On our way in we meet Willa, who also joins our party. We wend our way through many more trapped passages and eventually find a snakey door which leads to a very large sarcaphagus. Magic runes say "Disturb not the tomb of the faceless one, his reach exceeds his grasp". There is an ominous hissing sound from inside the sarcophagus. We explore some more, set off some traps, find a lot of fire-proof mummy wrappings (some of which we keep) and find another huge sarcophagus. This one contains a staircase. We are attacked by several skeleton and mummy snakes, and flee down the stairs. At the bottom there is a narrow, muddy corridor, leading to a slightly submerged lever. We are barely able to turn the lever as our party members are killed off one by one. This lever opens yet another shaft, containing another sarcophagus. Inside is a perfectly preserved body wearing a helmet. Pickety Pockety picks the helmet, revealing a leather mask with tentacles where the mouth should be. We hear the word 'freedom' in our heads as the man rises, and we flee back to Raja Raja Chola's palace with the helmet.
