The Place
Kerry: I nominate NYU's Kimmel Center. It is a big space, totally empty in the summer, and open to everyone with any kind of valid ID (driver's license etc). It has rooms for separate planning, tables and chairs, and a nice view. Best of all one need not buy anything to enter. Finally it is a central location, so no one needs to travel across more than one river.
Maggie: No way. No going back to college premises unless you're in college. What are we, a bunch of nerds? I nominate my house where people can sleep over if the game ends up being super uber long. Also, free real food.
tcm: i honestly don't care where it is, but i really don't want to go to Maggie's because of the extra money it costs to get there. Hal and Kerry's is slightly better, but that still costs extra. Queens, Manhattan, or Brooklyn would be optimal.
Kerry: I'm with tcm. Maggie, this will only take three hours, tops. I'm betting it will be less than two.
Noah: Agreed, although I think it's likely to turn out like a game of Starfleet Battles, where the first round takes three hours and the rest of the game lasts only another 45 minutes. I would offer Brooklyn, but I don't think we have enough room. Perhaps Queens is best?
