Has the body and hind legs of a lion and the wings, head, and forelegs of an eagle.
Gryphon's have been around for many great things:
In Egypt, they conquesred the enemies of the Pharaoh.
In Crete, a pair of them laid beside the ruler in the Palace of Minos.
In India, they live in ore-rich mountains and once carried Alexander the Great in a basket so that he could explore the sky.
