Sancho arrived on the scene shortly after Mamun was killed. He came all the way from Basque country after he heard of Mamun's legendary theft of the heart of Ayesha. He was quite disappointed to learn of Mamun's death and took over his spot in the following Alexander party, determined to also win favor with Ayesha
