Anu was born and raised on the outskirts of Pwllheli, on the coast of Wales. Her parents were both members of the Welsh Druidic Circle, and she was raised learning their ways. Throughout her childhood she trained in the ways of nature and the earth, hoping to one day gain the title of Druid. On her 16th birthday she became an initiate within her region. Shortly thereafter she attended the historic duel between Ailyll and Rudderch that was to decide who would take the lowest place among the Druids of Celtic lands. She was chosen by the victor, Ailyll, to serve as an initiate.
