Niorei was born in a small village near Rhayader in Wales. Called a changeling for her pale hair and eyes, she was cast out by her parents and left to die in the hollow of a tree. The tree she was left in was inhabited by a Dryad, who raised her as her own. Niorei grew up in the wild, and formed a strong bond with the spirits of nature. Frustrated at being unable to learn the the Dryad magic her adoptive mother used, she began to search for a different way to communicate with the forces of nature. She eventually came upon a human village, but was driven out because of her wild ways. The village's wise woman found her afterward and, speaking in the language of the forest, told her where she could go to find other humans who shared her love of nature. Following the woman's instructions, she came upon a gathering of Druids, who were meeting to celebrate the raising of a new member into their order. This new Druid, named Ailyll, took Niorei under her wing as an initiate, and began to teach her the Druidic ways.

Niorei is 18 years old, 5'5" with pale blonde hair and green eyes. She fights with a sickle and is accompanied by a wildcat named Seiphir.
