Svyatogor defeats Ingrid, thanks to his successful save vs. breath weapon.

Themistoclea, at a negative after a jive math magic item saved her from instant death due to massive damage, defeats a Nenufar whose strength is reduced too low for her to lift a sword, or even her own body from the ground.

Bui Digre defeats Naum with only 5 hp left, after her not very effective Prismatic Spray.

Hassan Azam defeats Norwit, after the rat all in ignorance twice in a row brings H.A. to within a hairsbreadth of exploding and killing them both. When the smoke clears, H.A. is really angry, and Norwit is at -10 hp, fatally poisoned, and turned to stone. Hassan turns to Naum, saying "That's how a real man casts Prismatic Spray".

Hildigund the filthy valkyrie defeats Kiram "Fat Legs."

Emperor Jan Seyoum defeats King Natongo without batting an eye (get it?).

Walid ibn Mustali very easily, despite what Lugurix says, defeats Lugurix.

Hovotralanana defeats Hippolyta the Kingu when she is compelled to surrender by his magical coonskin cap.

Robia, for the greater glory of Lesser Transoxiana, defeats Volga Vselavich in a surprise upset. Way to roll ones, Volga.

Ilya Murometz defeats the swashbuckling robot Alef, to no one's surprise.

Bevis of New Hampton defeats Halcyon with the first blow, when his sword Morglay breaks the Sword of the Seven Waters, and Halcyon -- er, Hesiod -- quits in a fit of pique. "This sword was the first line of defense for the fair city of Chrysopolis moans the governor, casting aside his love philter, "and now she is doomed." As "Freddy D." prepares to quest to repair his beloved sword, Eorl wipes the relief sweat from his ugly brow.

Sumarlid, Prince of Jerusalem and lodge master of Gotland, defeats the Phantom Blot, who splits in a huff.

John Crescentius narrowly manages to overturn a mismatch and defeats Yodit with his "Hadeshand" dagger.

King Orm defeats Raheesh more easily than anyone would have anticipated.

Fazel bin Salih defats Omran (a.k.a Ulf), who has gone up some levels, honest, but not enough, apparently. Fazel was then scheduled to fight Arben, but it turned out he had already fought someone and the second fight was just a scheduling snafu.

Droolmouth defeats Mulu Ken, who totally blew his one chance to get a surprise kick to the nuts. That's strength vs. speed there. That's also three victories for Kebnegard.

Vselov defeats Androctonia by summoning some monsters and then sitting back and waiting for them to finish her off. She didn't even have a magic weapon, and there was no way for her to win. Wicked unfair.

Harald defeats Agafangel at the last moment by whipping out his bones-to-jelly trick.

Thora defeats Firminius with more difficulty than she had expected, and only after squandering her sword Tyrfing's healing power.

Some mysterious person going by the name Victor defeats, with his awesome weapon speed, Alfodd.

Ogrid, without too much trouble, defeats Mukbil.

Majid al-Din defeats a bowing and scraping Jamila the Beautiful, who really drew the short straw to start with this match up.

Khan Curias defeats Saiiq Amam by turning into an elemental. Close fight.

Akim, covered in insects, easily defeats "Throkil," actually Thorkill (Thorion and Thorvald's dyslexic and somewhat rotten brother).

The Sixfold Crystal, replacing Eulampius at the last minute, beats the living tar out of Dylan Ap Mabon, who utterly fails to hit the mysterious stranger.

Lord Evelake needs no powers to take down King Danel, leaving only two African nobles left in the tournament.

In a friendly fight outside the of the tournament Knurri Mure beats up Sigvaldi Strut-Haraldson. They enter the arena without magic items, and Sigvaldi simply yields.

Arben figures he need not fight, he can just talk Thorbjorn out of fighting him. Thorbjorn is an affable fellow, and it almost works; but it doesn't work.

Ali proves to be some sort of moon dog, and pulls out all the stops, summoning shades and mirror imaging up a storm. But Kolya beats him down.
