Talk:The Danger Gang explore Pella
Noah: I'm not certain, but I think that inscription should read "by Cassander, denied a proper burial among the nobles in Aege, was cast into this swamp. Let this marker serve as a monument to one otherwise dishonored in death." I think Aege is a where, not a who - as in "The Aegean" - making the identity of this person-turned-Mossican unknown to us. And probably important. Hmmm... might be worth fishing around in the swamp for top of the inscription... if it wasn't for all the leeches. hm... If only we had the 4th level Priest spell lower water...
Chris: Possible, possible. Do you think the Mossican is the buried individual? Cause I thought they would be in the building on the island. But then, I suppose having your own island mausoleum wouldn't exactly be a dishonorable burial. I don't know. Why are you reading these now, anyway? I haven't finished yet.
Noah: Oops, sorry... but anyway, I do think the Mossican is likely the buried individual. I mean, the sign says that the guy was cast into the swamp. And this guy definitely popped out of the swamp. So unless there's a whole bunch of 'em down there, or he was just one of the retainers who was *also* in the swamp, we may have the remains of a bona fide historical personage who pissed off Cassander. Too bad, though -- they're too old to talk to (speak with dead can only go back 1000 years at its highest level).
