Beholder

A five foot floating eye with a few other tiny eyes. These eyes have magical properties; including an anti-magic ray, teleportation, telekenesis, disintegration, paralyzation, and more. They can also attack with their deadly bite. The Beholder is a vain species, and while incredibly evil, can be easily flattered. Those encountered have been willing to listen to reason, as long as that reason is garnished with compliments.

There are a wide variety of off shoots in the Beholder family, known as Beholder-kin, which includes the Eye of the Deep. The Danger Gang defeated one of these kin (most likely a Spectator) in the tombs of Aege and an Eye of the Deep one time too cuase they're wicked awesome.
