Sliver
Young dragons are eventually driven out of the nest to fend for themselves, and, since hunting dragons is a favorite pastime of heroes, those who can assume human form often do, to pass themselves off as humans. Sliver was wandering about, naked and confused, when the Battling Bastards found her, and, after some legend lore revealed her true identity, the party dressed her up and handed her a spare two-handed sword.
Sliver is utterly dumbfounded by the ways of humanity. Although she speaks the language fine, she cannot understand the nuances and subtle cues, and so she is often left out of conversations. However, she likes her new friends, who are, after all, aside from her family, the only people she has ever known, and she is proud that she can contribute to the party and help them when she can. And she’s trying to learn!
She is probably a better fighter as a dragon than when she is swinging a sword in human form, but she is trying to master this human form and would prefer not to change if she can avoid it. Remember to keep track of how often she can turn human per day; she doesn’t want have to spend the night in a form that would scare people.
Of all her new friends, KL is the nicest, and the one she knows best, although she also gets along well with Oakenliver, who is easy to understand. Emil seems like a good man, but is too subtle, and he cannot help speaking in a way that confuses Sliver. Dark Deedman is a little scary, but Chance, although kind of a selfish jerk, is also uncomplicated enough that Sliver gets him. Hemlock she feels a kinship with, as they are both fishes out of water in the human lands. That leaves Fearless, who is always so nice, but Sliver is not sure about her; is there something off about her, or is this just her own inability to comprehend elves?
