Everyone in the Forest is so happy, and it's all thanks to the Danger Gang. Who says you never make progress? Martialis is anxious to gladhand his higher up, and introduces himself to the druid from yesterday's big battle royale. His name is Sekavi, and he says there's nothing going on in the Galatean nation right now. Marty asks if he can do him a solid and transport Can's corpse to Chrysopolis to get patched up by the Patriarch. Sekavi graciously Plant Doors the rotting corpse.

Sekavi runs into Arben upon his return, and Arben welcomes him graciously, telling him that he'll take care of their ailing friend. Eorl, meanwhile, is morning the death of poor Naum and Cigne, but Arben gently breaks the bad news that Can has died too. Eorl is quite upset, until Arben reminds him that the Patriarch still owes Can a favor. Then Eorl realizes that Queen Vierga can bring back Naum and Cigne, and take care of Naum's little gender trouble while she's at it. Eorl brings Can's corpse to the Patriarch, and he brings Can back, begrudgingly. Can immediately declares that he's getting too old for this shit and announces his fulltime, real deal retirement.

Meanwhile, Lleryn, having made his peace with the plants of the forest, has decided to take on the mantle of the Brown One, so he can continue to root out the bad apples. There's a ceremony and the Brown One's dead jaws are repeatedly slammed shut onto Lleryn, passing on the lycanthropy. The forest has a new protector, but his days traveling with the Danger Gang are over.

Martialis asks Queen Vierga if she can make the mound at Aege into a Sanctuary, using some kind of rules from Druid book. She agrees. Marty then proceeds to check on the status of assorted players with Reflecting Pool. Alan the Korrigan is in Phillipi chatting with some local officials. Little Ceasar says it was his kind that jacked up his father's army; their lady folk turned a bunch of them to stone. Still, it doesn't look like he's stirring up any trouble.

A Reflecting Pool on Ogafangul reveals him sitting around, no place in particular. Nothing to worry about, I guess.

Last but not least, a Reflecting Pool on Melissa of the Circus De Jerkus. They're looking a little beat up, sailing out of Dorrachyon. They don't seem to down about it, though. So that's good.

It is then that Sekavi returns with Naum and Cigne's corpses. Marty presents them to Queen Vierga, asking for her help. She looks perplexed. Turns out, these guys aren't dead, just fallen victim to a poison. They should wake up in about a year. They Neutralize Poison on Naum and bring him up to speed. They tell him, if he wants, he can join them on their trip to Albania, where there's a bunch of gender changing magic, so he can become a real deal dude. He agrees, and they leave Cigne in the care of the Dryads.

The last favor they ask Vierga is for some magic to get them out of the forest faster. She whips up a Chariot of Sustarre and they start riding. The thing whipes out before too long, and they realize they still have some way to go.
