In an out-of-tournament match Harald takes out Orm by sitting in a Globe of Force and casting spells until he fails a save. Cheap, but awesome.

• Emperor Jan Seyoum of Axum vs. Sir Richard son of Odo of Normandy! (winner:Richard)

Richard administers a royal beat-down to a blind-folded Jan who is busy radiating Chaotic Evil from every pore and socket. Jan almost gets off PW Kill after a Programmed Illusion fakes his death, but Richard has on True Sight and gacks him anyways. Jan disappears in a puff of cheap-ass shenanigan when struck down. Also, he cast a lot of mage spells. As in actually cast, not from an item.

• Themistoclea the Geometer (Byzantine) vs. The Sixfold Crystal, the wanna-be King of X! (winner:Themistoclea)

Themistoclea fails to land a single blow, all the while the Sixfold Crystal fails to miss. Just when the lithe lady is about to give up, the pretty puddy tat looks over his shoulder and Teleports away, throwing the fight. A later Commune indicates that this was the work of someone (very likely Evelake) interfering with the outcome.
