Creating company through crowd reduction in the ruins of Ctesiphon

We killed a marid just to see him die.
We decided to dupe the watery instigator. Our plan was to have him wish a weapon from the four headed guy and then beat upon him. The wish, not the most useful one—though it was for a mace that would have been—was only used in this way because presumably dead Jinn grant no wishes. He told us a bit about the two weapons first: the mace is from yanker khan and is made form Chinese steele. The sword (named psaigeha or something crazy like that) was from wadie of wasoneroerer or something) is made from petrified lightning, or so they say.
In any case, the wish failed, but the beating did not. He tried to turn into water but we hardened the sandy ground through heat and fumbled the guy. The senmerv expressed concern, but not too much. He’ll probably be happier. Well, maybe. It could be that the tension between the two kept either from building much here. I’d be sad to see that guy sad. Hopefully we’ll never come back so I won’t have to see it.
After this is successful we go talk to the four headed guy. He thanks us, but does not feel particularly ingratiated by this unrequested favor. He still wants a brazier of fire element summoning, though for it he’ll give us stone in the sword (which contains the names we want). He might also trade one of our things for his mace, but the mace needs a new fox tail once a week. I like maces, but I love foxes. I would never use such a monstrous weapon, well not unless I spoke to the king of the foxes and he pleaded with me to use his people’s tails to save the world. “you’re the only one who can save us Diogenese,†he would say. “Please, accept our humble tails in exchange for our humble behinds. We will be forever in your debt.†But that’s preposterous. So, we probably just want the stone. One of the four heads, channeling some certainty from somewhere, insisted that we MUST have come across a brazier recently, but no one has any recollection here.
We should probably figure out what’s up with Norwit at this point.
