We killed a demon-monster-giant dude, and got a sweet totally unusable crazy-damage dealing magic 30 foot long pike. Know any giants who need something like that? Also got the paw of the rakshasa queen, sweet. Now we've two rukh or rukh+ paws, so we'll give on to you guys for distributed storage next time we see you. Also picked up an expert mechanist and a bunch of crazy Oqba spiders, plus a machine that will pluck out Jan Seyoum's eye and chop off his hand at the same time. We're going to sabotage that so that it isn't exactly the same time, which should screw him and good. Then we hit the Footprint of Adam, where a crazy bronze golem horse guarded a bunch of stuff. Harald foolishly ignored some Augury and fought the house, narrowly avoiding death. But avoid it he did, and we got to talk to an old god of the mountain in Sri Lanka. He knows all about the South, up to and including Kandam. He gave us these pointers: 1) Ool is cloaked in negative plane derived darkness, so you need a light or bad thing happen to you. Critters there will come to eat your light, so you better have a lot of light, or kill those critters quick. 2) Veshna hid "his greatest wish and greatest treasue" in Ool, but forgot the combination. 3) Utpala does not have Shiva's Cresent moon; Shiva crushed that, and what Shiva crushes stays crushed. Also, Shiva's Cresent shot a disintegration beam or somesuch, and had nothing to do with undead or paralyzation or anything. There is another Moon artifact: The New Moon of Ratri, thief goddess. As a thief artifact it could disguish itself, perhaps as a cresent.... 4) Undead in Kandam are unturnable, and uncontrollable. Also, there are a lot of them. We also got a ton of gold and an item or two, TBD.
