An immortal being mentioned in the Koran and other texts. He is said to have drunk of the water of life, but we know he really entered the Pillar of the Fire of Life and Death in Kor. He is also reputed to have been Alexander the Great's vizier. It is said that they traveled together, seeking immortality, but they parted ways and only Al Khidr finished the quest.
