Once back in Gaurosaura, the party is able to sell the gold casket lid for a hefty sum, and break open the barrel to find that it does, indeed, contain Eumenes’ notes from his time there. Most of it is uninteresting, notes on troop rations, design schematics for horse hoists, and tales from his youth (available for download in manga form here: http://www.kotonoha.monkey-pirate.com/ongoing-series/historie/). Among them, however, is Eumenes' List of Suspects; something Eorl might be willing to pay a pretty penny for indeed.

The party spends the night at the inn and prepares to head back the way they came, across Anatolian wilderness, to that golden city on the Bosporous, Chrysopolis.
