Team Jerusalem interrogate the dead tailed man, but find they have no common language. Mamun sneaks in to warn the Dao of the tailed man's plan. The Dao guards the Ebenge-Taia - the shard that holds back the waters of the earth. We go back yet again that night, find an underwater lake, see some sort of awesome artificial sun, fight some sea monsters and explore. There is a rock that says 'Zettic the great lyeth here. Move not the boulder'. Good thing we read that before trying to pass.. We eventually find our way to the Sea of Brass, where Nici and Leila bathe away their Harald killing cooties.

Back at the tournament grounds we divine about all sorts of stuff

I am not going to fool you, there is danger in the pyramid
Undead friend getting stronger, mind clearing
his plan to pass where he's been jailed has failed
things he will do beyond mu mu mu mu mu mu
 Sinstar's treasure
 potential homocide
 square aboeba
 ghosts, death, pain, vapor
Dwarf's dunce who once kissed the Queen of Sheeba
 spell written on fading paper
goon whose name was written on the moon
cursed by god, scion of odd
oh yeah, and the boat's in trouble

Alfodd, Deirdre, Amana (aka Reado), Trappo, Akim, and Saiiq go off to Nineveh, where we heard from Ramese II that Philip IV was holed up.We get a Divination that tells us to go there and mess with him, maybe get some loot, and get killed.

Put up your feet, sit on your ass, succor in hand, rest easy
Sea of brass easy, short sea voyage fighter, rest easy for a month
 Under sun not dome
Harald II comes from Harald's actions
 Brought by divination and danger
With one nor flora nor fauna, from a sauna
brings a friend of old who may spell end

So we do. Outside the pyramid we meet Asophie, who is very smart and somewhat crazy. He came from Espahon (farther than XueXan) to measure the pyramid. He had discovered the Nineveah constant - 2268. Almost everything died about 2268 million years ago in in the Oxygen crisis, more came after. He found a mirror downstairs which he used to write his name on the moon. It will be visible on April 15. He dropped the mirror and wants it back so he can underline his name and put a heart over the 'i', but he can't get in to the pyramid now. He found some paper lying around his campsite and read it, and there is a golem trying to kill him.

We take out some spectres without losing levels, then get Akim and Saiiq get killed by a troupe of high level zombie monks. Our damaged party meets Nisroch, who doesn't kill us, then Philip IV shows up and kills Deirdre. Everyone fights them, then Alfodd Teleports most of us out before we all die. A quick team is assembled and we Teleport back and finish off Philip. Yay, there's some treasure! We get 420 lbs of gold, a shield that used to belong to Solomon, some scrolls, a spellbook, and a jar that contains a phlactery. Now, what should we do with that? Also, we find a message from Pythagoras to his monks, instructing them to go to Nineveh and kill his rogue student, G(ebelisis), using the quivering palm if necessary. I guess that didn't work out so well for them. Nisroch confirms that Gebelisis showed up and took the bloodstone which Sennacheribs sons had thrown down in the pyramid. He lived there a couple of hundred years, then went off. We label Nisroch and let him loose, to go back to whence he came: the Ark of Noah. Before he goes he tells us the antediluvian name of nineveh: Karsom (?). We explore the other half of the dungeon, and fight a floor monster and a crazy antediluvian klein-bottle stlye purple worm. No one dies, but just barely. We get a mirror that lets you write on stuff out of it, rest in the dungeon, then Teleport back to the tournament grounds. Harald has meanwhile remembered the recipe for potion of giant strength and scroll of pro dragon breath that he got from Thoth's library, as well as Enchant an Item.

We got as much gold as we could carry out, as well as some bracers, a necklace and a torque.
