Space AIDS cured, and Yaya Jr. captured

We Teleport to Cairo to call in our last spell that we won from the Fatimid Party in our shutout polo victory. We meet with Jacob Ibn Killis and get him to pass along our request. He returns with a question for Harald: Who is the most beautiful princess? After some thought Harald answers "Mengloth", and then we get to have Akim raised from the dead. Turns out this was a watchword to prevent a Harlad clone from coming in and making a mess of things, and he just forgot about it but managed to get the right answer from first principles. Yeah! The Caliph also mentions that Mamun is dead meat if we don't delvier Yaya Sr in a week. Oh crap. Also, Harald feels like he might lose some more stats from his space AIDS, so we decide to run off and steal a Golden Apple to cure him, then hit Yaya for Round Two.

We grab Saiiq and Teleport to the City of Pain. We go down into the temple of Melkart and spell up. Ailyll drinks a dimunition potion and gets in Harald's pocket, and Mamun rides into the Garden of the Heperides on a raft Harald made with a Minor Creation. Harald and Ailyll sneak in behind him, and he lolls around in the lagoon while Harald flies over to the Tree (and ancient five headed chromatic dragon). He Summons up some Yetis (yes! finally) and they distract the dragon, who uses up fire, cold, and lightning on them. Harald starts cutting the apple stem, but it has more hit points than he imagined. The dragon gives Acid and Gas a try, and bites Harald a couple of times, but we come out OK due to Oil of Acid Resistance and a friendly Dust Devil. The apple falls, and then gets Feather Falled. Meanwhile Mamun us attacked by a crazy sea dinosaur, who chomps the boat in half. Harald Teleports back to the bow, and they all run away in an Airy Water. When they are out of the Garden everyone Teleports back to Cairo, and Harald eats his apple. He barely makes his System Shock, but his Luck Stone breaks due to the effort of keeping him alive. Space AIDS cured!!! Mamun is none too happy that this means Harald can once again benefit from his Con ioun stone, but thems the breaks. One more Teleport, this one to our boat in Sicily.

Merlinda is tearfully reunited with Akim, and he promises not to be killed anymore. Harald Magic Mirrors Barnacle Bashim and Yaya Jr. Bashim is talking seriously with a Morkoth at the bottom of the sea. Yaya Jr is on a boat in the far North, with Puff and a bunch of redshirts. After some talking we decide to go after Yaya Jr, though Harald really wants to get Bashim. We rest and spell up, then Teleport to their boat. A big fight ensues, and a Noble Marid pops up out of the water. He sees Mamun and does a spit take, then gets mad and informs him that he will stay dead this time. Mamun, recognizing the fist that killed him, promptly cuts the Marid's arm off. Harald webs the boat, and Puff gets bit by a fatally poisonous snake and fails a save, but gets away with his stupid Dimension Door thing. Yaya goes down, and Ailyll kills all the redshirts with a Wall of Fire. The Marid, sensing things are going south, breathes cold on Harald and Sunflower for a smooth 30d4+30(=105)hp of damage. Both of them make their saves, and therefore live at a negative. Good thing Harald got cured and took back his stone, or he'd be a goner. The marid tries to run, but Harald Magic Missles him from his Magic Staff, killing him.

Ailyll Summons some narwals to push us to shore before the boat sinks or burns or both. We try resting, but a Lindworm comes out of the sea and we fight. It is tough, but we win. Then Ailyll sees some Frost Giants headed our way. We hide in a cave that happens to hold an Ice Toad. We're mostly at negative now, so Harald Summons an Ankegh who kills the toad. Then Puff shows up, invisible. He casts Confusion after we refuse to give up Yaya Jr. We make our saves for once, and then Sunflower sucessfully Suggests that he leave us alone for eight hours or so. Puff leaves. After a short while those Giants show up, and lower a Giant Wolverine, aka a Stink Weasel, on a rope. They demand cash and try to swing it into the cave. Harald almost shoots through their very very strong rope, but the wolverine ends up in the cave. We give them some cash, but they let go of the rope anyway. We use Ailyll's Thorn Staff to catch the wolverine, and then Harald takes it out. We try to rest again, but now a Scrag crawls up. Harald shoots him with one of Hercule's Arrows, and he end up writhing in pain. We dump oil on him until he dies. Sunflower tells us that Puff will be back in 7 hours, so no Teleport for us. We rest for six hours, and Harald takes some spells. Then we fly away, landing 20 miles South in a forest. We try to rest again, and wait for what crap comes at us next.
