The Danger Gang Continues Reuniting
After some more rest cycles, the reunited Danger Gang seems ready to move. Most people have gone through the cup back to Aege. Kotrag is still very worried about Hush, and so Martialis scries on her. She's happily making a doll out of reeds in a field with some other children. She sits atop the Lobster Barrel. While he's in a scrying mood, Arben and Eorl ask him to check on Kodmelos. They find Big K happily munching on a Chimera. Everyone feels pretty good about that, he appears to be living up to his end of the bargain and only eating Chaotic Evil things. They figure, while they're on a roll, they'll try to check on Barnacle Bashim. Much to everyone's delight, it works. Bashim is sitting patiently on a pillow on a persian rug in some sort of mansion or palace. He seems mildly uncomfortable on land, but other than that, he's doing alright. At least he's not standing right behind them. They head back through the cup.
After chasing away that pirate captive, they head back to the surface and over to the S.S. Duck. Solevei is totally amped up to get both his scimitar and his spellbook back (later he makes Arben an illusory leg). The merfolk dirty half-dozen seem in good spirits, despite the fact that they came all this way for nothing. Even B The Beholder seems to be doing alright. Now that Marty is back and they're in the area, they figure they can check on The Brown One and Lleryn. He blows the brown note on the brown whistle. The appropriate One comes out of the woods with Lleryn in tow. The Brown One exchanges pleasantries as well as any gruff man-hating man-bear can, then leaves Lleryn in the care of his companions. Lleryn does not seem well. His time under the power of the Yellow Musk Creeper has left him touched, in the head, and afflicted with some sort of racial hatred of malicious plants. None the less, good to have him back in the fold. They thank the Brown One for watching over their friend and promise to get to taking care of this entire cursed forest issue soon.
Back aboard the Duck, Solevei informs them that they can't set sail till the wind picks up. They decide to spend the rest of the day relaxing. After all, they have all the time in the world.
