Vampiric Mist

A living mist that drinks blood (hence the name). Normally black, it turns bright pink while draining blood through the skin of its victims. While some theorize it is some sort of otherwordly beast, the more scientific minded suspect that it is some sort of collective of single celled organisms. Perhaps, they both are right...?
