"Look, Eorl, everybody is always talking about this Evelake guy, I've never even met him. I mean, has anybody even tried just talking to the guy?" says Arben.

"Actually, a lot of people have talked to him. Then he steals their rich stuff and/or kills them," Eorl replies, looking anxious.

"Well, I'm sure it'll go different this time. I'm gonna call him."

And so Arben coaxes a detailed description out of Eorl and then Magic Mirrors Lord Evelake.

Evelake is relaxing in a smoking jacket, catching up on some reading in his library. His library looks really well stocked, and looks like it might be in a room underwater. The surroundings are kind of misty, and for a moment Arben thinks he might spy a horse head. A Message spell allows the two to converse. Arben introduces himself and apologizes for interrupting before going on to explain that he really hopes that the two of them can become friends. All they really need to do is find some common ground, and then they can start to build from there. Evelake seems to find that incredibly unlikely, as their goals seem largely mutually exclusive.

Eorl, peering from the shadows, notices that Evelakes sword of soul stealing has five glowing gems.

Arben continues to say that they're both intelligent people; they've got a good eleven years before anybody's plans come to a head, in theory, so why not talk? Evelake doesn't seem averse to the idea, but it's hard to read somebody who's lost a lot of skin off of his face. He does mention that he's now in service of Lillith and mentions the name or place Zimri Lym, but I've totally forgotten what that meant.

Arben drops some knowledge on Evelake that he may or may not have already had, such as the Danger Gang is looking for the names of God.

Also, there's this exchange:

Evelake: "So, the world is going to end, where would you want to be?"

Arben: "Umm...not the world?"

Evelake: "Wrong. The places that aren't the world end first."

So, that's something to think about. He also tells Arben to tell Harald, when he meets him, the message that "His daughter doesn't know". Arben is gonna try not to forget. Not wanting to push his luck (and noticing that the other players are arriving) Arben wraps up the phone call, saying he'd like it if they could chat again some time.

Eorl comes out the shadows and punches Arben in the head. Arben tells him he shouldn't worry so much and that everything is going to be fine.
