    • Whetstone of the Narts (b) (possessed by Karl, actually a whetstone -- turns non-magical blades into +1 weapons for a limited time when applied, found in the megagriffin-filled cave of Prometheus in the Caucuses)
    • Pearl of Wisdom (possessed by Gershom, increases the Wisdom of one who holds it by 1 after 30 days, as long as it remains in the holder's possession, found in Beshna's knapsack where he left it in the underwater octopus cave near Japan)

    • Xu'oh (a telepathic kirin-like creature called a du-ru, slain by She-Who-Has-No-Face, wished back to life with one of Mazu's pearls, fires magic bolts from and can cast crystalbrittle with his horn, hide has inherent damage resistance (save for half damage) strict pacifist but doesn't mind whupping up on undead and inorganic monsters, Zombres always gets his name wrong, Karl insists the creature is his slave)
