Danger Gang Turquoise En Route to the Fortress of Nora

Six adventurers depart from Chrysopolis for the Fortress of Nora at the behest of Eorl to retrieve the diaries of Eumenes of Cardia. They are: Naum (the cross-dressing fighter), Signy (her (his) new sidekick), Liten (forced into sobriety), Presentinus (hoping to buy back his position as cleric to Nicomedia with dungeon treasure), Abner (who fears his halberd skills are growing rusty), and Lugurix (Galatian king pretender in need of XP to validate his claim). Arben dubs them the Danger Gang Turquoise, a moniker they grudgingly accept.

Following directions provided by Norro, they cross Asia Minor heading east-by-southeast.

In Phrygia, they pass through a city called Pessinus. The people there seem engaged in the fervent worship of a goddess named Cybele. They leave quickly to avoid trouble.

Marching through Galatia, Lugurix keeps his hat low over his eyes so no one will recognize him.

After they reach the Taurus Mountains, the party begins seeing fiery streaks at night, flaring from one mountaintop to the next.

Eventually, they reach the town of Gaurosaura, less than a day’s trek from the Fortress of Nora, or Naroassus, as it is known to locals.
