Final Round
Harald faces Evelake. They currently stand tied, each having vexed the other in a prior encounter. Who will triumph? Expect a crazy fight.
Wow! A long, drawn out battle full of crazy magic and harrowing escapes ensues. Evelake unleashes a shit-ton of shenanigan when he starts out with a dispel magic that unleashes twenty-seven spell effects. Evelake hides behind a Prismatic Wall while Harald hides in a bubble. Mammoths, a fire elemental, some ghouls, and a giant weasel are all and then summoned and then promptly disposed of. Harald eats soma, then wastes his ka time casting spells, only to have Evelake dispel them all. Evelake fireballs Harald's body in the sphere while Harald is out trying to kick his butt, then summons goblins inside for the coup de grace. But wait! Ka time ends, and Harald massacres goblins and bathes in their blood. He preps as best he can, and then comes out to face Evelake while extremely wounded. Harald Crystalbrittle's Evelake's soul-sucking sword, but Evelake puts it in a magic pocket before it can get smashed. He also Power Word Blinds Harald in order to protect him from the Symbols on Evelake's chest. What a nice guy. Then Harald beheads Evelake, and they take turns missing each other for a bit. Evelake pulls out a wand that makes you repeat the same actions for eternity, but fails to hit. Harald starts doing damage, and a panicked Evelake Power Word Kills him. Ha! Harald's mega-wish makes that less than fatal. Evelake takes him down to a negative, and it looks like Harald is swooning......but no! He's up, and he takes down Evelake without exploding his heart, thanks to the Iron Ring. Yay! That quest was meaningful after all!
