Fricker Mimic

Fricker Mimics are monsters that disguise themselves as inanimate, valuable objects to lure in greedy adventurers, frequently treasure chests. It is common knowledge that when placing them in dungeons as guards, it is a good idea to feed them a little treasure to help them get into character. They can be quite sticky if you touch them with your bare flesh, but they are relatively easy to hit due to their soft, amorphous hide. The Danger Gang fought one in the Hall of the Ancients in Aege. Since it was disguising itself as a box of ashes, it had eaten no treasure to help it get into character.
