Hat Trick!

Realizing that their planned on-taking of Twrch Trwyth and his possibly-adorable piglets will be interrupted by Round Three, the Danger Gang takes some time out to fight a Barghest, and Zombres tests out his magic-using at DOUBLE GIANT size (finally getting to wield the Mattock of the Titans). After Kolya's stunning upset, they return to the Channel south of the divinely radiant well King Edward (Ethelred's older brother) was chucked into after his death a while back. Soon approacheth the biggest dang boar you've ever clapped eyes on, with his none-too-shabby-in-his-own-right silver-bristled kiddo (the light reflecting off of which blinds Gershom and Arben immediately) and five other larger-than-the-a-ver-age-boar hoglets, all intent on MURDER. Not gonna lie, it is a rough fight. Marcella, down to 1 HP, flies a safe distance up bearing Gershom (Arben having flown away on his own)...then later swaps him out for an unconscious Al. Zombres's stolen giant body is an invaluable asset, and Kolya's stone pony Moraghiz also does his hoofish bit. At long last, the silver-bristled boar is killed, and Twrch Trwyth himself surrenders up his shears and comb. As a goodwill gesture, Gershom brings his young 'un back from the brink. Humbly requesting that he kill any octopuses he should encounter, the DG prepares to return to the Lady of Avalon, having jumped through all three of her hoops. If she just throws more tasks at them, they are going to be MIFFED.
