Imorph

At first glance, the Imorph would appear to be a typical four foot tall column of flesh with a pair of whacking tentacles. However, when it encounters some adventurers, it will slowly begin to emulate one of them, even going so far as to grow possessions (such as weapons and armor) out of its flesh. Once it fully takes on the form of another, it also gains their abilities to some extent (such as a druid's ability to assume animal forms). It is not clear whether it gains the memorized spells of spellcasters, however. It does not seem likely, as they do not gain the memories of those they imitate, as can be proven by the fact that if you yell at one "Hey (friend's name)" only your friend will answer back.

It has been rumored that the fluid from an organ from within the Imorph can be used to make some sort of polymorphing potion, but this is clearly not true, as when they are defeated, they melt into a pile of goo. Also, they seem to have no consistent internal organs, as they take on the organs of the imitated, as proven by their vulnerability to thieves' backstabs.
